there's a song in my heart

I sang and signed (sign language) this hymn at my high school graduation. I remember choosing it because I felt it symbolic to the trust I was trying to exercise as I went into the next chapter in my life - college! - and all the uncertainty back then with decisions that needed to be made. Ten years later, and embarking on yet another chapter in my life, this song still holds a special place in my heart... and is even more meaningful to me.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
And to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
And to know, “Thus says the Lord!”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
-
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
-
Oh for grace, Lord, to trust you more...

He's always been faithful to me.
As you face other, different trials in life, some easier, some harder, remember how good and gracious God is.
We are so glad for you and we continue to pray for you at church. You are loved! the Hunts

Happy Day. Home at last. Our head knowledge knows God is good. Our heart knowledge from watching the miracles for Ethan overwhelms us with the Goodness and Grace of our Lord doing more than we can ask or think. We join in your joy of being home.
Love to you all.
