"And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son... And he [Jesus] asked his [the boy's] father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child... If thou canst do any thing,
have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. But Jesus took him [the son] by the hand,
and lifted him up; and he arose. And when he [Jesus] was come into the house, ....he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but
by prayer and fasting". - Mark 9:17, 21-24, 27-29
After a mental battle on Friday.... I stumbled across this story online. Of all the stories there were on the particular website I was on (
http://www.benotafraid.net/),
THIS was the story I happened to click on (see below link).
THIS is what God wanted me to read. I couldn't stop crying after reading it. To say it renewed my faith would be an understatement.
We continue to be overwhelmed and touched by your
kindness in words, deeds and prayers.
Thank you so very much!

WOW!
he is so cute! he's got the biggest eyes ever!
I am so sorry for what you are having to go thru with your child. We will definately will be praying for your family daily and I will put your family on the church prayer list. One thing that we have learned in our lifes is that even though the doctors might not know what to do God is in control. God will take care of your child and your family. He is an amazing God.
Because of him,

I love the new picture of Ethan. He is getting so big. With the diagnosis, I feel like that is all I have thought about when I think of him. But, he is just so cute and growing. Enjoy all these times and his milestones. They get old so fast!
Hi - I don't know you but have been following little Ethan's journey after seeing the post on bargainshopperlady.com. You have an amazing gift of communication!! It is a blessing to me to read your words - how real and vulnerable you are!
At church on Sunday, I kept thinking of you as my pastor preached on the story of Lazarus. He encouraged us to think of how Mary and Martha felt without knowing the outcome - that their brother would be raised from the dead. How sad and confused and hurt they must have felt when Jesus did not come as soon as he heard that Lazarus was very ill. Our pastor stated that out of love Jesus had them wait. It was an amazing sermon, especially for those who have to endure hard things in this life. If you ever want to hear the sermon, it is posted at our church's website abfboone.org. I have never replied to a blog before. I am not one to push my thoughts or church sermons on people. I just kept thinking of you and thought maybe the Holy Spirit wanted me to encourage you with what I heard on Sunday. I am praying for you and your family. May God's peace overflow and permeate your family!!
Wow! Keep praying for your miracle Kasey and we will keep praying with you! What an amazing story of "Faith"!
How encouraged you must be after reading that story! God is indeed mighty! We're still praying for a miracle for sweet little Ethan!
Awesome story of "the prayer of faith shall save the sick",(James 5:14). It gave me goose bumps. God is Awesome. We are continuing to pray daily. Ethan is so precious, I love his new picture.
Just "found" you via Lydia's mom, Little Leaps of Faith. I wanted to let you know that I will be praying fervently for your sons healing, and if his healing is the kind that brings us mothers the severest pain, that God will carry you through, and that your faith will be refined, and his glory will be revealed in you. As I struggle with my own grief, my heart cries deperately for my God not to waste this. Let this be for a greater purpose, let this be amazing, let this reach someone, keep me from being so self-focussed that I forget others who are suffering.....
